Water-Tite 103 is a two-component highly flexible cementitious waterproofing membrane which consists of selected cement with well-graded fillers and synthetic resins.

PREPARATION

The substrates must be clean and sound, free of dust and loose particles. Laitance, oil, grease, mold release agents or curing compound must be removed from concrete surface by using wire brush or other means. Ensure sufficient gradient to allow water to run off. lt is recommended that a cement and sand fillet be formed on all corners to receive the waterproofing membrane. Prior to the application of the waterproofing membrane, dampen the substrate with water while ensuring that no free water is present on the surface.

 

HOW TO USE

To mix, pour Part A, liquid, into clean container. Slowly add Part B, powder, into the container and mix with a slow speed mechanical mixer until it becomes homogenous and lump-free. Allow the mix to stand for 5 minutes and re-stir manually before use.
For horizontal and vertical surface, roller or brush may be used to apply the slurry coat. Carefully apply the coat to ensure that air is not entrapped in the membrane.
Apply first coat generously to fill all the pores. Allow to dry for approximately 2-3 hours before applying second coat. Second coat must be applied crosswise. If desired, a third coat can be applied.
After applying second coat, allow minimum curing time interval of 15-72 hours before laying the screed and commencing ponding test.
